Call for Contributions

In addition to a program of invited speakers, a call for contributions will be open to general contributions

Call for Contributions

Details on how to submit your abstracts can be found below.  All propositions in the general fields of catalysts and catalysis for polyolefins, and polyolefin reaction engineering will be considered, and scientific excellence will of course be the main criterion for selected presentations. The contributions may explicitly address aspects related with sustainability and circularity. Suggested topics for this conference include:

  • Molecular Catalysts
  • Activators / Immobilized Catalysts
  • Heterogeneous Catalysts
  • Fundamentals of Polymer Reaction Engineering (kinetics, thermodynamics, transfer phenomena)
  • Reactor and process technology
  • Microstructural analysis and polymer characterization
  • Structure-property relations / AI-aided modeling
  • Future Trends

How to Apply for Oral and Poster Presentations

Applications, including a one-page (A4) Abstract with appropriate literature references, can be sent by e-mail to the attention of bluesky-incorep@polymers.eu

No formal deadline has been set. However, for organizational reasons, early application is recommended. All applications will be subjected to review by the Conference Scientific Board (Prof. Bernhard Rieger (Chair, DPI), Prof. Vincenzo Busico (UNaples), Prof. Timothy McKenna (ULyon), Prof. Joao Soares (UAlberta)). The decision of the Reviewing Board will be rapidly and formally communicated to the author(s), along with instructions for poster preparation in case of acceptance.

As is in the tradition of the parent events, the Poster Sessions are intended to be the heart of the conference. Ideally, all participants should come up with one or more posters. Three afterdinner poster sessions (with free open bar) will be held on June 13, 14 and 15 (the latter reserved to DPI participants) Authors should be prepared to present their posters orally (15 min; maximum 10 slides) in case these are selected for an Elevator Pitch. All posters are eligible for the Best-Posters Contest and Awards.

Presentation of new results is considered important for acceptance. In view of this, no advance Abstract publication has been planned, and photographic reproduction of the posters will not be permitted, unless the authors explicitly agree.
